Nursery / Toddlers Age 6 weeks – 23 months
ROOM RATIO: To ensure that your babies receive the best care, we adhere to a one to every three child ratio in our nursery/toddler classrooms. What To Bring
Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name before arriving at your child's class. This helps us keep track of your child's items.
We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our program a healthy place for all. Check in starts at 15 minutes prior to service start and ends 15 minutes after service starts. A leader will meet you at the door of the Nursery or Toddler Room door to receive your child and any other necessary items. Please check in and note any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies and special needs. At the time of check-in, a leader will greet you and enter your child's and your information on a label. . A leader will then apply an adhesive name tag to your child's back with his or her name on it. You will be given a matching tag. This tag will need to be presented at the time of pick up. A child will not be released without presentation of the parents corresponding tag.
Saying Good-bye After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our leaders will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return after the worship service is completed. If your child cries for an extended period of time of 10 minutes, we will page you.

3, 4 and 5 year old Class
ROOM RATIO: To ensure that your child(ren) receive the best care, we adhere to a one to every ten child ratio in our 3/4 and 5 year old classroom
Check-In Process
Lesson TimeThe children will learn a Bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson. We choose one main point and remain on that for a 5 week period. We realize the need for repetition in order for children to retain the Biblical Truths we are teaching. They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives. We also teach on giving and allow the children to practice applying this principle each week during offering time.Worship TimeThe children will participate in group worship time which includes singing praise and worship songs and a DVD teaching lesson.
The children may play a game or activity, enjoy a snack and engage in a craft which also revolve around the main point. The classes will also visit the playground, weather permitting, on a rotational basis. Check-Out ProcessEach child is sent home with a Take Home Challenge to reinforce the lesson. This also allows us to come along side you, the parent, in raising your kids in Christ. Please help your child fill out the challenge and bring it back the following week for a prize from our Treasure Chest.
